Other Work I Like

I got my start in advertising at SullivanPerkins in Dallas, writing for clients like Verizon, Essilor, Lake Austin Spa Resort, BNSF Railway and CareNow. Since moving in house, I've continued to freelance for a number of other agencies and companies, including T3, nFusion, Neck of the Woods and PrintingForLess.com. Below is a sampling of my agency and freelance work.

Neck of the Woods

I write product descriptions and other website copy for Neck of the Woods, a children's clothing shop with clever designs printed on organic tees. The designs are based on cities/states and their attractions. The voice I created for the brand is playful and joyful, so it's always fun to write for them.

Lake Austin Spa Resort

At SullivanPerkins, I wrote print, digital and radio copy for Lake Austin Spa Resort, a spa so fancy I would most likely not be allowed in. And rightly so. Their brand voice is as sumptuous and soothing as their services. 

 

Clampitt Paper Wine Label

While at SullivanPerkins, my design partner Michael Lashford and I entered the fiercely contested Clampitt Paper Wine Label Competition. Each year, the paper company holds a design contest for the label of its private vintage. I concepted the name/design and wrote the label copy. We came in runner-up, but how many wine label design competitions have you won???
